There are, umm, several more book haul posts on the way, because I went a little nuts. But I’m so excited about all of them!
Converging Parallels by Timothy Williams is the first in the Commissario Trotti mystery series set in Italy. I love a mystery in a foreign country!
Lead from the Outside by Stacey Abrams–what can I say, I want all her wisdom and insight. A Lady’s Guide to Mischief and Mayhem by Manda Collins looks like a fun mystery/rom-com. A Taste of Sage by Yaffa Santos is another rom-com.
I pre-ordered Bag Man by Rachel Maddow and am so happy to finally get it–it’s about Spiro Agnew. I’ve read a ton about Watergate and Nixon but never much about Agnew.
Hidden Places by Sarah Baxter is a beautifully illustrated little book about obscure destinations. Finally, and unfortunately with a damaged book jacket, is Plain Bad Heroines by Emily Danforth, a gothic-y novel set in a boarding school. So many good books, so little time!
